Job Description
SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
• Immediate hires full-time all shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) & every other weekend schedules.
• New Long-Term Care Pharmacy - 3019 Ring Road, Ste 102, Elizabethtown, KY 42701
• Competitive benefits package available the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
• Earn up to 3 weeks/120 hours PTO accrued annually.
Responsibilities
• Able to work under the direction of a Lead & Pharmacist in Charge
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand processes
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
• Package fill and ship medications
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Licensed KY Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Previous data entry experience preferred
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus
• Previous experience working in a fast paced environment
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to physically perform light lifting up to 1 pounds occasionally
